If you or someone you know is pegnant there is a type of massage available called Prenatal Massage. It isn’t really that different from a regular massage; but there are different steps taken to accomodate the tummy. For example; I would have you lay on your side with a pillow between your legs so that I can work on you back, leg and arm on top and your neck.
Depending on how along you are in pregnancy I can work on massaging the baby as well but would mostly focus on you and your body’s sore spots/needs.

Massage therapy can also be used after someone has given birth to help the body with all the soreness associated with giving birth. Sometimes a massage therapist can give you a deal for purchasing 2 massages at once (one for before and after birth)…
